Our Story

16 Years of Transforming Lives

TADA was founded in 2008 by a group of passionate farmers and agricultural development professionals in the Tongu District who saw the urgent need for collective action to address the challenges facing smallholder farmers.

What started as a small farmers’ group in Sogakofe has grown into one of Ghana’s most respected agricultural associations, representing over 5,200 members across the Tongu District. We have advocated for better roads, market access, input subsidies, irrigation infrastructure, and fair prices for farmers’ produce. Our work spans crop farming, aquaculture, livestock, and agribusiness development. TADA is registered with the Department of Cooperatives and is affiliated with the Ghana Federation of Agricultural Cooperatives (GFAC).
